Supporting Stand Up To Cancer
In October 2017, firefighters from Evesham Fire Station ditched their usual uniforms for orange tutus and knee high socks in a bid to encourage people to dress up and raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Cancer Research runs the Stand Up To Cancer campaign every October and 100% of money raised, whether through dressing up outrageously or baking cakes, goes towards funding clinical research that will help find cures and treatments for the disease.
By supporting this charity, the Service is able to help locally promote awareness of the disease and assist with raising vital funds.
