Tenbury Wells fire

Fire engines from Tenbury, Bewdley, Stourport, Kidderminster and Worcester were sent to the scene initially. A crew from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended.

The incident involved a severe fire in a large property which contained 10 domestic properties. The third floor and the roof of the property were involved in the fire and 20 residents inside the property were quickly accounted for by firefighters.

The Service sent a number of specialist appliances to the scene, including; an Aerial Ladder Platform, Water Carrier and Incident Support vehicle.

The fire is currently under control.
