Why not try something NEW this year and become a Fire Service Community Volunteer? Are you 18 years or over? Have spare time during weekdays and/ or weekends? Want to do something rewarding in 2018? Then the team at Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service need you!
The varied role involves supporting a diverse range of exciting opportunities including key education campaigns aimed at making young people safer whilst supporting community events and fire station open days, and visiting people in the community to help raise awareness of reducing the risk of fire within the home.
Our volunteers also play a key part in supporting our operational training, often acting as casualties in training scenarios, helping to ensure we are delivering the best all round service to the communities of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
