Worcester Flat Fire

Three fire crews from Worcester Fire Station were called to a flat fire in Coopers Close yesterday evening (May 10) at 6.29pm.

On arrival crews found the fire was in the lounge area of the property. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property – which was empty at the time. They used two hose reels to put the fire out. By 6.51pm the fire had been extinguished and crews then ventilated the property.

The stop message was given at 7.22pm and the cause of the fire is now under investigation.
