Ledbury Fire Station open day

in News

The event will run from 11am until 3pm and there will be plenty to interest visitors of all ages.

As in previous years, there will be a range of equipment and vehicles on display and a number of demonstrations throughout the day, including a cooker fire and mock road traffic collision. Those attending will also be able to experience the new’ smoke tent’ which will be filled with artificial smoke to show people what it is like to be in a smoke-filled room and the actions they should take if they should have a fire in their own home.

Firefighters will be on hand to offer fire safety advice and there will also be refreshments and many other attractions.

Crew Commander Richard Cooper from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “The open day is free entry and guaranteed to be fun for all. We hope people living in the area will make a note of the date and bring their families and friends along!”
