Crewing system trial at Hereford & Worcester fire stations

in News

The Fire and Rescue Authority has approved the trial a different crewing arrangement for the second fire engines at both Hereford and Worcester fire stations. The Service is currently selecting suitable staff, who are able to work the new shift pattern and carrying out the appropriate interim building works to accommodate their needs whilst undertaking 24 hour shift work.

The aim is for the introduction of the new arrangements by mid-May and in conjunction with the move to the new Worcester Fire Station.
