Fire at Rotherwas Industrial Estate

Three fire engines from Hereford Fire Station were initially called to the scene at just before 8am (Wednesday 17 April). On arrival they discovered a significant building fire and called for three extra fire engines to attend the scene. Crews from Ledbury, Fownhope and Leominster were sent.

Firefighters are currently working to bring the fire under control. A Command Support Unit from Malvern and an Aerial Ladder Platform from Hereford are also at the scene.

As there is a large smoke plume in the area, the public are being advised to keep their doors and windows closed as a precautionary measure.
