Bbc filming

Firefighters from Bromsgrove Fire Station will feature on the BBC TV show, Close Calls on Camera, on Monday. The programme features people who have come into close contact with danger but, through the work the emergency services, have been rescued from a potentially life threatening situation.

Watch Commander Darren Packwood will be on the show to talk about an incident that he attended back in 2012, where a crew from Bromsgrove rescued a young teenage girl from beneath a lorry. The girl, now 22, has now almost made a full recovery and will also feature in the programme to tell her story.

The show will air on BBC One on Monday 20 July at 11am and if you miss the show, you can also catch it on BBC iPlayer.
