Fire at Tyrrells Court

Crews from nearby Kingsland & Leominster were initially mobilised and arrived on scene within 10 minutes. The building involved measured approximately 70m x 30m and the fire was in the area of the mezzanine and roof space. As the scale of the incident became clear, further appliances from the surrounding area were called to assist. At the height of the fire crews from;

  • Kingsland
  • Leominster
  • Peterchurch
  • Eardisley
  • Hereford
  • Kington
  • Malvern
  • Bromyard
  • Leinwardine
  • Stourport
  • Tenbury
  • USAR (Urban Search and Rescue)

…were mobilised to the area, and the scene was sectorised and controlled from the command support unit as firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose-reel jets and main jets along with the water carrier and aerial ladder platform to help bring the fire under control.

All persons have been accounted for.
