Air Ambulance Called to RTC

The air ambulance was scrambled after a collision on a main road left two people injured.

The collision occurred at the junction of Cotswold Way (B4639) and Cranham Drive in Blackpole, Worcester, at around 1.30pm Tuesday 18th May 2010.

The Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford was dispatched and the on-board doctor and aircrew worked alongside medics to treat the injured.

The collision, involving two vehicles, closed the busy road. Two crews from Worcester attended the incident and firefighters had to cut the roof off one of the vehicles to free a trapped occupant. The occupant of the other vehicle was treated for less-serious injuries.
