Upton upon Severn Fire Station opens its doors to the public for the first time in 10 years
Upton upon Severn Fire Station on Minge Lane will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (22 July) from 12noon- 4pm for the first time in ten years for its open day. The event is free for all to attend and promises to be entertaining for all of the family.
There will be a wide range of fun filled activities for everyone to enjoy including fire engine rides, road traffic and chip pan fire demonstrations, water rescue kit will be on display; and a raffle will take place during the day in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity that has some amazing prizes including a one night stay in a Bed and Breakfast as well as a brand new fitted house door.
Visitors will have the chance to have a first-hand look at the impressive equipment and vehicles at the station including the Aerial Lift Platform (ALP) from Worcester Fire Station
and there will even be the opportunity to ride a fire engine for a donation to the Young Firefighters Association.
Visitors will be able to indulge in some of the tasty treats including cakes and refreshments that will be on sale throughout the day.
