Bungalow fire, Kidderminster

A smoke alarm at the property had activated and the two occupants had escaped without injury.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus went into the bungalow and used two hose reel jets and one covering jet to extinguish a fire in one of the bedrooms. They also isolated electrics and used positive pressure ventilation to clear the smoke.

The fire was under control by and fire officers are now working with the police to establish how the fire started.
