Roof Cut From Car to Release Driver

Crews from Malvern and Worcester attended, and used specialist cutting gear to remove the roof from the car and release the female trapped inside it. She was then taken by land ambulance to hospital.

Station Commander Steve Fox from H&WFRS said: "The woman was medically trapped inside her car and firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof and extricate her. "

He confirmed that the rescue took just over half an hour and that police and ambulance crews also attended.
