in News

The open day will be held at Redditch Fire Station in Birmingham Road on Saturday 4 August , between 11am and 3pm.

As in previous years, there will plenty for all ages to enjoy, with a range of vehicles and equipment on display. There will also be a number of demonstrations throughout the day, including a road traffic collision demonstration plus some drills from the Young Firefighters Association.
Some of the Fire Service’s partner agencies will also be attending, including representatives from West Mercia’s Safer Roads Partnership.
Those attending will be able to pick up a range of fire, water and road safety advice while there will also be refreshments, a bouncy castle, face-painting and other activities on offer.
Station Commander Steve Fox said: “As in previous years, the open day is guaranteed to be a fun-filled event with lots for visitors of all ages to see and do. Entry is free, so why not make a note of the date and come along with your family and friends.”
