Open Day at Hereford Fire Station this Saturday

in Events

Hereford Fire Station on St Owen Street will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (29 August) for their annual open day.

Visitors will get to meet their local firefighters and get a closer look at the impressive fire engines that they use on a regular basis. The crews will also be providing plenty of fire safety advice and hosting an array of demonstrations, which include a drill tower rescue with Service mascot Blaze Bear and a road traffic collision.

If that's not thrilling enough, the public will also get an insight into the life of a firefighter with fire engine rides and a water rescue boat will be on display.

The event takes place from 11am until 4pm and visitors won't go hungry as refreshments, including a barbecue, will be available throughout the day.
