Fire service carry out training and capture safety footage thanks to Place Partnership and Red Hill Primary School
Firefighters from the Service recently carried out training at Red Hill Primary School in Worcester, during which video footage and photos were captured that will greatly assist with future fire safety campaigns.
Using a building on the school site that is due to be demolished, the crews carried out live burns in the living room and bedroom which were then tackled and extinguished.
Photos and video footage were taken throughout the exercise which will be used for various upcoming safety campaigns. Through these campaigns, the Service intends to inform and educate people about fire safety in the home.
Place Partnership, who will be refurbishing the building, helped secure the site for HWFRS. The Service would like to express their thanks to both Place Partnership and Red Hill Primary School for their help and support on this project.
