Fire Service supports Worcestershire's Children and Young People's Plan
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) is supporting the Worcestershire Children and Young People's Plan, which will aim to help all children in the county reach their full potential and live happy and healthy lives.
The plan, which Worcestershire Country Council officially launched last week, has been created to help benefit all children and young people in Worcestershire and as a result contribute to the county being a wonderful place to grow up.
Chief Fire Officer Nathan Travis, who is also Chair of the Worcestershire Strategic Connecting Families Group, said: "The plan outlines how all agencies can work together to help ensure that children in Worcestershire are safe from harm, reach their full potential, and make a positive contribution in their communities.
"We are pleased to be able to work with Worcestershire County Council and other partners to be able to deliver this plan which we hope will have positive outcomes for the young people living in our county."
The plan is owned by all agencies working with children, young people and families in Worcestershire.
