Hereford Fire Station opens its doors to the public

Hereford Fire Station on St Owen Street will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (2 September) from 11am - 4pm for its annual open day. The event is free for all to attend and promises to be entertaining for all of the family.

There will be a wide range of fun filled activities for everyone to enjoy including static displays and demonstrations where you can watch firefighters demonstrate how and what equipment they would use to rescue casualties from incidents and fire safety displays.

Visitors will have the chance to have a first-hand look at the impressive equipment and vehicles at the station, as well as meet the local firefighters and Wellyphant the Fire Fighter Charity mascot.

Visitors will be able to indulge in a BBQ and refreshments that will be on sale throughout the day.
