On Call Firefighter (Retained Duty System)

We are currently in need of On Call Firefighters at a number of our Retained Fire Stations across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

If you live or work within 5 minutes of your chosen Retained Fire Station, are over 18 and looking for an exciting spare time opportunity, the Retained Duty System may be for you.

As a trainee Firefighter you will receive an annual retainer of £2,116*. You will also be paid £9.66 per hour for attending incidents and training, plus £3.70 disturbance payment for each call-out.
*Providing 120 hours cover per week.
