Local Transparency
Stage 1 - Supplier Payments over £500
The new coalition Government is committed to increasing transparency across the Government and Local Authorities.
The first step outlined in a recent paper by Eric Pickles MP, requires Local Authorities to publish items of spend over £500.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Authority (the Authority) routinely makes information available, including Authority Meetings and decisions, information on public spending, performance settings and targets.

To further promote transparency and accountability, the Authority will publish a list of all of invoices paid totalling over £500 on a monthly basis.
