This is a first line attack appliance, carrying a crew of six persons along with firefighting and rescue equipment. This vehicle is also fitted with a touch screen data system to allow the crew instant access to a range of information vital for rescue or firefighting. (Vehicle Mounted Data System or VMDS). The service currently use the Dennis SS as replacement vehicles for any fire appliance that is undergoing servicing or repair and for driver training.
