The hydraulic platform cage can be elevated to a height of 26.30 metres. The platform has a payload of 360 kg which allows it to carry 5 adults either for access or rescue. If the water monitor is in use, the payload is reduced to 227 kg which allows only 2 Firefighters in the cage.
The donkey engine - a Briggs and Stratton V twin 12hp engine - is used for emergency housing of booms.
It carries a crew of two. The Hydraulic Platform is located at Bromsgrove Fire Station.
