The Dennis SS incident support unit carries salvage equipment, ultra heavy cutting equipment and other specialist equipment that can be called upon to assist in dealing with an incident or its aftermath. It carries a crew of two and is accompanied by a supporting appliance when deployed. This vehicle is also fitted with a touch screen data system to allow the crew instant access to a range of information vital for rescue or firefighting. (Vehicle Mounted Data System or VMDS).
