Specialist Information
Two of these vehicles have the integrally installed Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS) fitted and are strategically located within the Service area. This is a first line attack appliance, carrying a crew of six persons along with firefighting and rescue equipment. This vehicle is also fitted with a touch screen data system to allow the crew instant access to a range of information vital for rescue or firefighting. (Vehicle Mounted Data System or VMDS).
