The Services' two Mercedes Atego appliances are located at Ross on Wye Fire Station. This is a first line attack appliance, carrying a crew of six persons along with firefighting and rescue equipment. This vehicle is also fitted with a touch screen data system to allow the crew instant access to a range of information vital for rescue or firefighting. (Vehicle Mounted Data System or VMDS).
