Juvenile Firesetters Scheme

This scheme was introduced to reduce the risk of fire setting behaviour in our community. The aim is to change the behaviour of young people who engage in anti social behaviour and fire setting. The scheme is designed to curb / stop fire setting behaviour by providing the appropriate education system to support the children and their families.

Education

We aim to educate children in our local community on how to prevent fires in their homes, by making them aware of the dangers with fire and provide them with life savings skills. Our lessons are aimed at Years 5 & 8, (Key Stage Two and Key Stage Three) .

Schools may apply directly to the Education Team for classroom resources or a school visit. If there are any national curriculum subjects you believe we can assist you with, or  if you have any suggestions on how we may improve our service then please contact our Education Team on 01905 368226
