Droitwich Fire Station open day promises fun for all

Droitwich open day poster 2016 webDroitwich Fire Station on Friar Street will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (6 August) from 11am- 3pm for their annual open day, which promises to be fun-filled for all of the family.

There will be plenty of exciting demonstrations taking place throughout the day which include live firefighting and a road traffic collision demo.

Firefighters from the station will be inviting visitors to come and take a closer look at some of the impressive equipment that the crews use in emergencies and there will also be the opportunity to ride a fire engine!

After looking around some of the interesting displays from West Mercia Police and St John Ambulance, visitors can indulge in some of the tasty refreshments available which include a barbecue.
