The event was well attended with approximately 1500 people visiting the illustrious event. Present on the day were several dignitaries including Lord-Lieutenant Lady Darnley along with Deputy Chief Fire Officer Richard Lawrence.

The event was a great opportunity to work collaboratively alongside West Mercia Police and the Red Cross enabling the Community Risk team to review activities and lead by example to help to improve the lives and wellbeing of the community.

He continued: "I would like to express my thanks to our volunteers Janette Hussey and Jackie Morris, who gave up their time to assist with the event that allowed our Community Risk team and volunteers to discuss the everyday dangers in the community and the benefits of our initiatives such as home fire safety tests."
