Kidderminster Fire Station on Castle Road will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (16 June) from 12pm - 4pm for its annual open day. The event is free for all to attend and promises to be entertaining for all of the family.

There will be a wide range of fun filled activities for everyone to enjoy including static displays and demonstrations where you can watch firefighters demonstrate how and what equipment they would use to rescue casualties from incidents and fire safety displays.

Visitors will have the chance to have a first-hand look at the impressive equipment and vehicles at the station, as well as meet the local firefighters, and have a ride in a fire engine. There will also be information on recruitment for the new Wyre Forest Hub.

Visitors will be able to indulge in ice creams and refreshments that will be on sale throughout the day. For the kids there will also be a bouncy castle and face painting.
