Drivers Urged to take care after a spate of pre-Christmas collisions
Fire and rescue crews were called to seven road traffic incidents in a fifteen hour period that started shortly after 4pm on Friday 23 December.
Station Commander Grant Wills from HWFRS said: "This was a particularly busy period for the Service which started with a two vehicle collision on the A44 in Worcester and was followed by five other incidents in North Worcestershire and a further incident in South Herefordshire. "Fire and rescue crews attended all of the calls carrying out a variety of tasks – and in many cases working with the Police and Ambulance Service to ensure public safety.
"We urge drivers to take special care when using roads – especially at night or during poor weather."
