Smoking is the biggest fire killer

Smokers are being warned that they must wake up to the deadly dangers of smoking - especially when tired - as Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) as part of the Fire Kills campaign, highlights that a third of all deaths in fires in the home are caused by cigarettes.

Firefighters promote water safety in Arrow Valley Country Park

Just over a year ago, 15-year-old Richard Fellows drowned after swimming with friends in Paper Mill Weir in Arrow Valley Country Park. This week, Redditch firefighters have been promoting water safety in this area and speaking to the public about how they can stay safe.

Chemical Spill in Droitwich
