Hereford Fire Station on St Owen Street will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (3 September) from 10:30am-3:30pm for their annual open day, which promises to be entertaining for all of the family.

Last chance for residents to have their say on the Wyre Forest Emergency Services Hub

For the last 8 weeks, an extensive public consultation on the proposed Wyre Forest Emergency Services Hub has been underway. This public consultation is due to close on 9 September 2016 and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) is encouraging Wyre Forest residents and business owners to give their view on the location of the hub before the consultation finishes.

Inspector Gareth Lougher of West Mercia Police and Robert Allen, Station Commander at Kidderminster Fire Station, part of Hereford and Worcestershire Fire Service, have issued a safety warning after receiving a number of reports about trespassers and fires being lit inside derelict premises.
