Bromsgrove Police and Fire Station on Slideslow Drive will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (2 September) from 12pm - 4pm for its annual open day. The event is one of many in the lead up to October in which West Mercia Police celebrate their 50th Anniversary. The joint station open day is free for all to attend and promises to be entertaining for all of the family.

New speed enforcement sites launching in Herefordshire and Worcestershire

The Safer Roads Partnership in Warwickshire and West Mercia is launching a number of new mobile speed enforcement sites in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, in direct response to concerns raised about the speed of vehicles travelling in each area. In Herefordshire, new sites will be launched on the B4399 in Holme Lacey, the A417 in Stretton Grandison and the B4349 in Clehonger. In Worcestershire, new sites will be launched on Dugdale Drive in Worcester and Station Road in Honeybourne.
