The Safer Roads Partnership in Warwickshire and West Mercia, Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police are supporting a European day of action this Thursday (21st September) and are urging all road users to make the 'European Day Without A Road Death' - Project EDWARD - a reality across our region.

HWFRS support for Worcester and Worcestershire Pride events

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFS) will be supporting two Pride events in September. On Friday 22 September Worcester crews will be attending the Worcester LGBT+ Pride (Rainbow Festival) taking place at the Archdales Club, Blackpole from 1600 – 2100 hours; and the second event, Worcestershire Pride is taking place on Saturday 23 September at the South Quay and Copenhagen Street Car Park from 1200 – 2000 hours.

Malvern Fire Station opens its doors to the public

Malvern Fire Station on Worcester Road will be opening its doors to the public this Saturday (23 September) from 11am - 3pm for its annual open day. The event is free for all to attend and promises to be entertaining for all of the family.

The Safer Roads Partnership and West Mercia Police are warning motorists of the dangers that may be present at this time of year as farmers are using the roads more when harvesting and moving their produce.
