Hereford & Worcester Fire Authority (HWFA) decided today to support a judicial review challenge to the former Home Secretary's decision to change the governance of the Service from an authority made up of local councillors from the two counties to the Police & Crime Commissioner.

Free P.S.A blood test for men aged 45+

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) is hosting Worcestershire Prostate Awareness Group this Saturday (19th May) to provide FREE PSA blood tests for men aged 45+. The FREE PSA testing will take place at Droitwich Fire Station, Friar Street from 9:30am – 1:00pm, to arrange a test please phone 07522 504 300.

A spring clean could save your life!

It may be the last month of spring, but there's still time to squeeze in a final spring clean. A part of the national fire safety campaign, Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service is asking people to clear the clutter that may be blocking escape routes and to make sure their family, guests and loved ones know how to get out, stay out, and call 999 in the event of a fire.
