Firefighters tackle crop fire near Worcester

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) is currently tackling a standing crop fire at a farm at Severn Stoke, Worcestershire. The public are being asked to stay away from Severn Stoke and Croome Court to allow vehicle access down the narrow lanes, until the incident is over.

Firefighters tackle large wild fire in Kidderminster

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) were called to a large wild fire at Axborough Wood, Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster at approximately 2.34pm yesterday afternoon (19 July). Eight fire engines and a number of specialist vehicles were deployed to the incident and on arrival firefighters were faced with a fire that involved a number of fields and a wood.

Peterchurch & Ewyas Harold Fire Station Open Day

Fire Service adopts ‘Graded Response’ Procedure

Following a Health and Safety led review of all operational and non-operational driving related policies and with public safety in mind, Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) has now adopted a new Graded Response Procedure to be used when responding to incidents.

On-call firefighters needed at Pebworth

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service is recruiting additional on-call firefighters at Pebworth Fire Station. Men and women aged 18+ are invited to an awareness session at Pebworth Fire Station from 1830hrs on Monday 16 July.
