Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service wishes people a wonderful Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, but is urging people to consider fire and outdoor safety as they plan their celebrations for this unique long weekend (2-5 June).

“It’s time for all boats to have suitable smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms.” -
How a Spring Clean could save your life! Says HWFRS

It may be the last month of spring, but there’s still time to squeeze in a final spring clean. As part of the Fire Kills campaign, Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service is asking people to clear the clutter that may be blocking escape routes and to make sure their family, guests and loved ones know how to get out, stay out, and call 999 in the event of a fire.

Second HWFRS fire engine delivered to Poland to support Ukraine firefighters

Following a request from the Home Office and National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC), all UK Fire Services were asked to donate any equipment and vehicles that were due to be replaced, decommissioned or disposed of, to Ukraine’s Firefighters.
