Station Commander

"Our fire station, which was opened in March 2017, covers an area on the borders of Warwickshire and Gloucestershire, largely made up of small villages in a rural setting. Evesham Fire Station is made up of wholetime firefighters operating alongside on-call firefighters, who work part-time responding to calls in the area when needed. With the River Avon nearby, the station is a designated water rescue station with all wholetime staff trained as swift water rescue technicians."

Other Station Information

Evesham Fire Station is bordered by Warwickshire and Gloucestershire. The station ground is mainly made up of small villages in a rural setting and stretches as far as Drakes Broughton to the west, Pebworth to the east, The Lenches to the north and Dumbleton to the south.

Evesham Fire Station is made up of both wholetime and on-call firefighters. The on- call firefighters work part-time, responding to fire calls in the area when needed.

Since one of the major risks in the area is the River Avon, the station is a designated water rescue station. All wholetime members of staff are trained as swift water rescue technicians, with some staff going on to become swift water rescue technician instructors and swift water rescue boat operators.

Evesham Fire Station has two Scania fire engines and a Water Carrier which is crewed by two trained members of staff.

On-call drill nights are held at the Fire Station every Monday starting at 7:00pm.
