Other Station Information

Bewdley Fire Station provides fire cover for the town and surrounding areas, with West Midland’s Safari Park and Severn Valley Railway incorporated within the station’s response area. The main part of Bewdley town is situated on the western bank of the River Severn.

Bewdley Fire Station is a retained fire station, so is staffed solely by on-call firefighters, who respond to emergency calls whenever they are needed.

The station has a Mercedes fire engine and can offer off-road capability with its Land Rover 130. This is ideal for use on large expanses of heathland, such as Hartlebury Common, or areas that are difficult to access like parts of the Severn Valley Railway.

On-call training nights are held at the fire station every Tuesday commencing at 6:30pm.
