Stourport Fire Station is a retained fire station, so it is staffed solely by on-call firefighters, who respond to emergency calls whenever they are needed.

With regards to equipment, the station has a Dennis Sabre fire engine, which is a first-line attack engine that can carry a crew of up to six firefighters along with firefighting and rescue equipment.

The Environmental Protection Unit (EPU), who provide support to crews at incidents involving hazardous materials, are based at the station. Amongst other things, the EPU carries booms to protect rivers from the spread of pollution in event of a chemical spillage entering the water course.

On-call drill nights are held at the Fire Station every Wednesday commencing at 6.30pm.
