Dear FOI Team,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide the following information for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.
For the years 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2024, please provide:
The total number of firefighters, broken down into:
a) Wholetime
b) Retained (on-call)
The total number of uniformed officers at each rank (e.g., Crew Manager, Watch Manager, Station Manager, Group Manager, Area Manager, ACFO, DCFO, CFO), broken down into:
a) Wholetime
b) Retained (if applicable)
Where development/trainee categories exist, please include those numbers separately.
If data for an exact year is not held, please provide the nearest available figures.

We thank you for your request for information, which has been received by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (the Service) and considered under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000.
The Service can confirm that the information that you have requested is partially held. We do not hold the requested information for the years 2000, 2005 and 2010. However, the attached documents provide the relevant personnel for the years 2015, 2020, 2024 and 2025.
