Dear Information Governance Team,

Please treat this as a Freedom of Information request.

I am requesting the following:

1. The Fleet Replacement Plan or Fleet Strategy covering 2024–2027.

2. Any sections of the Fleet Strategy relating specifically to officer vehicle replacement cycles.

3. Any operational requirement documents, justification logs or specification criteria for officer vehicles intended for the 2026 replacement.

4. Any emails, reports or discussions held by the Fleet Manager or Fleet Department regarding the replacement of officer vehicles in 2026.

I am requesting all information held, including emails, spreadsheets, minutes, draft documents and presentations.

We thank you for your request for information, which has been received by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (the Service) and considered under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000. 

The Service can confirm that the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service’s current Fleet Plan covers the period 2020-25 and is available on the Service’s website.  The proposed fleet plan covering 2025-30 is currently in development and is not available at present.  The 2026-27 Officers Vehicle Replacement Programme is yet to commence whilst other red and ancillary fleet procurement routes are finalised.
