Good Morning
We thank you for your request for information, which has been received by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (the Service) and considered under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000.
The Service can confirm that the information that you have requested is held and is as follows:
1. Number of Multi-functional devices at the Fire Service?
We have 15 MFD devices.
2. Name of current supplier/s?
We use Sharp MFD, supplied by Midshires.
3. Contract start date?
We are currently out of a contracted period on the devices. We own the devices.
4. Contract end date?
As above.
5. Is there an option to extend this contract?
The current arrangement is not under contract. It relates to colour copies and monochrome copies per printed page, which supports our automated toner replacement requirements.
6. Does the Fire Service have a print room? If yes, when does the contract end?
No, we do not have a print room.
7. Does the Fire Service have additional printers? if yes how many and is there a contract?
We have a further 27 printers. No contract is in place; they are supported by our internal ICT teams.
8. What route to market – open tender or framework, if yes which one used?
We tend to use frameworks such as BlueLight or Crown Commercial.
