Kington Fire Station provides fire cover for Kington and the surrounding rural areas. The station area borders Wales to the North and West.

Kington Fire Station is an on-call fire station, so is staffed solely by firefighters who respond to emergency calls whenever they are needed.

The station has a Scania fire engine, which is a first-line attack engine, carrying a crew of up to six firefighters along with firefighting and rescue equipment.

On-call training evenings are held at the Fire Station every Thursday commencing at 6:30pm
