Water Rescue Boats

Two specialist boats supplied through funding from central government to provide additional functionality to the Service in times of widespread flooding and also specialist rescue. Due to their large internal deck space, they are capable of transferring;

Wheelchair bound casualties
Stretcher bound casualties, with ample additional space for medical staff to be carried
The delivery of humanitarian aid such food and water
Transfer of rescuers and their specialist equipment
